Welcome

NHS Property Services together with NHS Surrey Heartlands and North West Surrey Alliance are bringing forward proposals to redevelop the Weybridge Health Campus, off Church Street in Weybridge.

The Community Hospital that occupied the site was destroyed by a fire in 2017. The health services that occupied the site have been re-housed in temporary portacabins or provided in locations across the North West Surrey locality.

The proposed development includes a fit for purpose building that will accommodate The Phoenix Family Practice and other health services, to serve the local community.

Previous public events were held in May 2022 and January 2023. Views and feedback have been taken on board in the revised proposals for the scheme. Pre-application engagement with Elmbridge Borough Council earlier this year has helped us to refine the proposals even further.

This website provides an opportunity for us to share our emerging proposals and seek further feedback from local residents and other interested stakeholders on the latest design for the scheme. We are delighted you have taken the time to learn more about our plans as well as how you can contribute to the emerging proposals.

Your views are welcomed and will help us to finalise the scheme’s design prior to the submission of a planning application in November 2024. You can provide feedback in the ‘Have Your Say’ section.

Public Engagement Events

We held two in-person events on 18 and 19 October at St James’ Parish Centre, Churchfield Rd, Weybridge KT13 8DN, close to the site.

Thank you to all those that attended the in-person events or provided feedback online. The comments received will now be reviewed carefully by the team and taken into account, where possible.

A planning application will be formally submitted shortly for the Weybridge Health Campus. Once registered it will be made available to view and comment on at planning public access at: www.elmbridge.gov.uk.

Any future comments should be submitted directly to the planning application via Elmbridge’s website.
